Day - 1:
Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar : Morning arrival
at Ahmedabad Railway station/ Airport. Transfer to Hotel. After
freshening-up, local sightseeing and lunch: Gandhi Ashram, Sidi
Sayed Mosque, Hutheesing Temple, Adalaj Step Well, Handicraft & handloom Bazaar (Law Garden), Evening go for a stroll at Akshardham
in Gandhinagar near your hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day - 2:
Unai / Saputara : Early breakfast and depart
for the solitary hill station that clings to the state of Gujarat,
on its border with Maharashtra, is the Dangi enclave of Saputara
nestled in the Sahyadri range. It offers a pleasant climate
and panoramic view of lush green Dang forest. Enroute visit
the Hot Water Springs at Unai. Check in and dinner at Hotel. Stay overnight at Saputara.
Day - 3:
Mahal Jungle/Waghai Botanical Garden / Gira
Water Falls : After breakfast transfer to Purna Sanctuary
a part of a dense moist deciduous forest in the Western Ghat
of Gujarat. Situated at Mahal, 60 kms.north of Dangs, the sanctuary
is crossed by Purna and Gira rivers. Visit the surrounding villages
of Malegaon-the typical hut clusters of 'Padas' and Jogbari-Dance
form of Modal(in the foothills of Saputara), Linga-Bow and Arrow
Practitioners and Gadvi-Bamboo Craft (on the Mahal route) and
Bhadarpada-Dance forms of Angara and Ambapada (on the Waghai
Road) Dinner and stay overnight at Saputara.
Day - 4:
Saputara : Early morning enjoy a point
which offers the best view of Saputara and adjoining Malegaon
after a walk of 1.5 km in the direction of Waghai. - Sunrise
Point. After breakfast proceed for Boating at the Saputara Lake
surrounded by greenery making it pleasurable to sail in the
lake. Visit the Ropeway a ten minutes ride across the valley
to the sunset point, Museum, Rithumbara School a residential
school for tribal girls engaged in farming and sale of strawberry,
bamboo pickles and cacti plants, Echo Point, Wagh Bari, Governor's
Hill. Dinner and stay overnight at Saputara.
Day - 5:
Vansada National Park/Baroda :
Today you will be transferred by road to a private forest of
the Maharaja of Vansada, the Park now covers an area of 24 sq
kms. Despite its small size the park harbors tiger, leopard,
pangolin, rusty-spotted cat, python, giant squirrel, four horned
antelope, etc. Prior permission is required to visit the park.
Late evening leave for Baroda the cultural capital of Gujarat
and stay overnight at Hotel - Baroda.
Day - 6
Baroda / Ahmedabad : After breakfast
visit the Laxmi Vilas Palace, the finest buildings of the city.
Half day tour of the Palace Museum, Pratap Vilas Palace, Makarpura
Palace, Kirti Mandir, Sayaji Baug, the famous M.S.University,
Sursagar Lake, half day local sightseeing / shopping at Baroda.
After light snacks in the evening depart for a drive back Ahmedabad.
Arrival at Ahmedabad and check in at Hotel.
Day - 7:
Depart Ahmedabad : Transfer
from your hotel to the Railway station / Airport to catch respective
